John is a 21 year old graduate of E-commerce programming at the System Technology Institute, Digos City. He was awarded as Web Designer of the year and won the best project award.
He truly loves designing using digital tools like Photoshop, Corel Draw and Adobe Flash and also using analogue tools like oil paint, poster color and oil pastel.
He has also won graphic design, logo and web designing contests in several worldwide competitions online and even on-the-spot poster making contests when he was still in primary level.
He is now a web designer and graphic artist for Virtual Web Outsourcing.
John is a God fearing person who desperately aims to be a genuine Christian who believes that the real measure of man’s wealth is what he has invested in eternity.
Marivic or Marvs, is a graduate of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT). She was a consistent Dean’s lister from first year to fourth year. She was also awarded as the “Best Field Reporter” in the NDDU Intramurals in 2007.
She is very diligent and punctual. Marvs may be serious when doing something important and needed; however, she is humorous and entertaining when not. She interacts well with people and is a team player. She has interpersonal and teamwork skills, managerial and supervisory skills, quantitative and computer skills.
In a more personal level, Marvs is 20 years of age. She is sociable and loves to unwind on weekends. She has many friends and would love meet new ones. She spends her leisure time surfing the Internet, going to the mall, bar hopping, and exploring lovely beaches. She occasionally drinks but never smokes. She is stylish and loves dresses.
Juna or Ging-ging, a young lady who originated from Iloilo, got her bachelor’s degree in B.S. Mass Communications major in Development Communication at West Visayas State University. She became a volunteer reporter in one of the local media in Iloilo while she was studying. After graduation, she got a job for the promotions department in one of the fitness gyms in the said city.
After which, she became a customer service representative for more than two years in a call center and was eventually got promoted as Quality Assurance Specialist. Now, she is a part of Virtual Web Outsourcing working as a Virtual Assistant.
In her 25 years of existence, she got to know and to understand the real meaning of living. However, as a human being, she’s still learning and struggling to live with it.
She is inspired by a quotation from George Saunders – “Character is the governing element of life and is above genius”.
Peter is a cheerful person with such a chameleonic personality that allows him to quickly adapt to different environments and situations. He can be temperamental but he displays utmost control of emotions and thoughts no matter how overwhelming they are.
Being able to mingle with people with different personalities makes him easy to get along with. Versatility is his best characteristic, though he may be bound to limitations. He is a thinker. To him, his worst critic is no less than himself. Thus he spends much of his time attempting to harness his skills. He learns relentlessly.
Supposedly teaching kids in schools, he chose to explore what else there is he could do – a way to define himself in ways further than his achievements had. Recently, he caught a glimpse of himself – a person who remains neutral with such unique dormancy whilst the world around him advances swiftly. No winner stays that way – not him.
Honing his skills in English is a requirement he has never yet seen successfully accomplished. To him it is an unmitigated challenge.
He will write a book before he turns 50. Oh yes, he will!
Arian or Loloy to his dear friends, took up Bachelor of Arts in English major in Creative Writing at University of the Philippines in Mindanao. With a language proficiency that is hastened in poetry as his undergraduate thesis, Arian has expertise in using a language that is economical and straight-forward.
His background and love for blogging during college makes him well-informed, enabling him to work effectively as a Web Content Writer.
In Arian’s spare time, he loves to read in the comforts of his bedroom. Among his favorite writers are J.R Ackerly and Joy Kogawa who both have keen observations of the daily qualms of people.
Arian loves to contemplate about things that interests him. He is sensitive to other people and very adaptable. He believes that he will never be rich in his life because he is not selfish when he is blessed. Arian believes in making people happy.
Roselle is described by her closest friends as “the honest little girl” who has a particular liking for periwinkles and a deep curiosity about the lives of old people. In her spare time, she diddles and makes facetious remarks at her little brother and, hyperbolically, at her friends. She loves to kid around and gags at someone’s joke. She is 21, and sees her age with a big contagious smile.
Writing is of high importance to her. She took up BA English Creative Writing in the University of the Philippines in Mindanao. For her refined style and restrained command of the English Language, her final project – a collection of short stories about domesticated human relationships– was awarded “Best Distinction”.
Her writing is full of profundities and subtle moments upon which the reader can ponder for the first minute and settle the next. She reads Annie Dillard’s books and loves to quote some amusing lines of Flannery O’Connor. She writes criticisms and religiously blogs her epiphanies in life.
She is a web content writer, examining yet the nature of the job, and is functioning efficiently so far.
With writing and literature as his favored field, Gabriel also has a working knowledge on the social sciences, biology and photography and visual arts.
His study under the BA English program of UP Mindanao have taught him the different forms and styles of writing; his writing portfolio now include—among others—short stories, creative non-fiction pieces and stories for children. He received a seal of merit for his thesis, and his stories have earned him fellowships to different national writing workshops and a national award for young writers.
Although primarily a content writer, his eggs-on-different-baskets mindset pushes him to also learn the different methods of search engine optimization.
His main interests are literature, pop culture and psychology, with particular fondness for the works of Gary Larson, Neil Gaiman, Charlie Kaufman, Johnny Depp, Oasis and Lourd Ernest de Veyra.
Michael Hervas is a graduate of Ateneo de Davao University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. When it’s about computers, he has ample knowledge about the subject. From computer programming to some troubleshooting, he is your go-to guy.
Being a resourceful person is one of his greatest strengths aside from being initiative. He can easily catch up and learn new things. He can also do his work with little or no supervision.
He loves playing badminton and computer games. Michael also loves watching great movies.
When it comes to relating to people, he is very versatile. He is a friendly person, but can become serious when it comes to work. Aside from his strengths, his experience and skills in computers makes him a great Virtual Assistant.
Glenn is a Computer Science Graduate from the University of Mindanao. He is skilled when it comes to graphic designing and computer programming. He is knowledgeable in using Visual Basic 6 Programming Language, HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL, and also softwares such as Crystal Reports XI, MS Access, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Soundforge.
He likes to create paintings and computer graphic animations and designs. He likes having friends and meeting new people especially women.
He spends most of his spare time playing computer games, going out or dating. He is a well rounded sociable person, competitive and partly religious. He likes working under pressure and always gets the job done.
Leo is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology from San Pedro College. He can describe himself as ambitious, outgoing and understanding. He also loves to discover and learn new things. That is why he likes to read blogs and enjoys social-networking sites.
He is an internet savvy person. When relating to others, Leo is very approachable. He loves to hang out with his friends and listen to music. He is fun to be with and you’ll never have boring moments when you are with him.
Thea is a person with an undying grin on her face. She is a proud product of Silliman University with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication. She can ably express her thoughts either by writing or talking but prefers the latter. Thea is a creative person. She manages to find her way out of a difficult situation seamlessly.
She happens to have a happy disposition in life and sees the brighter side of things rather than its shortcomings – optimistic indeed. Thea’s patience is longer than her age. She is very efficient and very detail oriented to a point of becoming an OC.
She dedicates most of her spare time to watching tv, movies, reading books and magazines and exploring the internet as well. Computer jargons may sometimes be a struggle for her however it won’t stop her from being effective.
